Cantine Europa is pleased to host, Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m., its members and a delegation of students from the University of Palermo at its headquarters in Petrosino (TP).

The event is the result of a collaboration that began a year ago with the Industrial Design Laboratory of Prof. Dario Russo – Department of Architecture (DARCH) and Prof. Nicola Francesca – Department of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Sciences (SAAF). Cantine Europa is among the first Italian social wineries to have espoused the pursuit of design to improve its communication, enhance marketing, enter the world of e-commerce competitively, and soon to develop green projects.

Among the many laboratory achievements of the 2020-2021 academic year will be presented the “ PetriKore “. A communication project of three labels of Grillo, Zibibbo and Nero d’Avola, each representing an image linked to the landscape and history of our territory: the name for the sound recalls that of Petrosino and for the story the Kore, the mythological female goddess figure of spring.

Together we will hear directly from the students’ voices the story of their educational and creative journey experienced in close contact with the reality of the winery. Everything will take place during the tasting of the new line of three wines we produce, which will take place in the largest room of our headquarters, among the large tanks that preserve the fruit of the commitment and harvest of the contributing members.

The event will also host a delegation of journalists and will have a webinar connection on the “Teams” platform to enable broader participation by schoolchildren and college students.

Due to regulatory restrictions on the containment of Covid-19, participation in the event is by invitation and upon confirmation of attendance, with display of the green pass for at the entrance.
